Luggage Storage Policy

1. Service Description

LAB Miami Beach provides a luggage storage service as a convenience to customers. This service allows customers to temporarily store personal belongings at our retail location during business hours (9:00 AM - 11:00 PM).

• Storage is available on a daily basis only
• Items must be picked up on the same day of drop-off
• Multi-day storage requires separate daily reservations and additional fees
• This is NOT a professional storage facility - it is a courtesy service

2. Complete Limitation of Liability

THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF THE COMPANY, IF ANY LIABILITY IS FOUND DESPITE THESE TERMS, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE STORAGE FEE PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ITEM(S) IN QUESTION.

3. Prohibited Items

The following items are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from storage:

We reserve the right to refuse any item at our sole discretion. Storage of prohibited items will result in immediate termination of service without refund, and may be reported to authorities.

4. Storage Hours and Pickup Requirements

• Operating Hours: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM daily
• Same-Day Pickup Required: ALL items MUST be picked up by closing time (11:00 PM) on the day of storage
• Late Pickup: Items not picked up by closing time will incur additional daily storage fees
• Abandonment: Items left for more than 7 days without contact will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or donated without notice or compensation
• Identification Required: A valid government-issued photo ID matching the reservation name is required for pickup
• Reservation Code: You must present your reservation code at drop-off and pickup

5. Customer Responsibilities

By using our storage service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during reservation
• Ensure all items are properly secured and locked (if applicable)
• NOT store any prohibited items as listed above
• Remove ALL valuable items from luggage before storage (cash, jewelry, electronics, important documents, etc.)
• Pick up items within the designated time frame
• Present valid ID and reservation code at pickup
• Pay all applicable fees before retrieving items
• Inspect items upon retrieval and report any concerns immediately

6. Pricing and Payment

• Small ($5/day): Personal items up to 18" (backpack, handbag, tote, laptop, camera, shopping bag)
• Medium ($7/day): Carry-on/hand luggage up to 20" (trolley, small suitcase, duffel bag)
• Large ($9/day): Check-in suitcases or bags up to 32"
• XL ($11+/day): Suitcases larger than 32", sports/music equipment, oversized packages

Payment is required at the store upon drop-off. We accept cash and major credit cards. Group and multi-day rates may be available upon request.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LAB Miami Beach, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or related to your use of the storage service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

9. Right to Refuse Service

LAB Miami Beach reserves the right to refuse storage service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to suspicious behavior, suspected prohibited items, or failure to comply with these terms. Refusal of service does not entitle the customer to any compensation.

10. Inspection Rights

LAB Miami Beach reserves the right to inspect any items before accepting them for storage. We may refuse to store any items that we believe, in our sole discretion, may be prohibited, dangerous, or otherwise objectionable. By using our service, you consent to such inspections.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or our storage service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

You waive any right to a jury trial and agree that any claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class action.
